Status:Active, open to new members
Leader:
Derek
Group email: Church Architecture group
When: Monthly on Wednesday mornings 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month (Except August}
Venue: Ickenham

The Group explores information about the architecture, development, construction and design features employed in ecclesiastical or church buildings around the country of all ages and types. The leader has been interested in ecclesiastical architecture for many years and has an extensive photograph gallery which is often used to illustrate his talks. Refreshments are available at the Monthly meetings.

Occasionally a Newsletter is produced and from time to time a member will give a short talk about a particular visit, subject or item which may be of interest to the group.

Additionally visits to ecclesiastical buildings are usually arranged for each month, these often include access to locations that are usually locked. Members make their own way by bus or train but on occasions, include a car or coach journey arranged by the group.

The group would welcome any new members who are interested in this subject. To join or get more details, contact Derek by clicking on the Group Email link above.
