We have many members of Hillingdon u3a who do not want to be on the committee but are willing to help out from time to time, and their help is much appreciated. They form the Really Useful Group, or the RUG as we know them.

This group was formed a few years ago and now needs to be expanded so it can provide the occasional assistance the Committee needs.

Below is a list of example activities we might occasionally need some help with;

• Being an usher or Meeter and Greeter at monthly meetings.
• Serving refreshments at events.
• Distributing posters or leaflets.
• Manning a stall to recruit new members.
